No, this isn't the site of the Mets-Marlins-Royals' Mike Jacobs (but thanks SI). And, for the record, he isn't even the first Mike Jacobs in baseball. My bio page noted the existence of Mike Jacobs - the 1902 Chicago Cub with a lifetime batting average of .211... pre-steroids, I guess - waaaay before the new Mike Jacobs ever hit the majors (or minors). And there is a famous Mike Jacobs, who directed Dinosaurs, Boy Meets World, and Charles in Charge. And I'm (slightly) older. So its not like the new Mike Jacobs really has claim to this name.Funnier still, my partner in crime is Scoreboard Gourmet the ultimate site on food and sports... and she's been covering the real MJ for a while... since she told me and I didn't believe her (and thought she was talking about Brandon Jacobs). The whole time calling me "TMFJ" (= The Fake Mike Jacobs)... though she did buy me a Jacobs METS jersey (cyclones have no names on them). check out the TFMJ posts on me! (and, yes, that's me responding)
